- Sketchbook or drawing pad
- Drawing pencils (#2 pencils or
complete drawing set, whatever,
just not mechanical)
- Eraser (whatever kind you like)
- Drawing Pen (ultra-fine point
sharpie or more fancy fine-tipped
drawing pen)
- A pocket folder - to put stuff in
- A pair of scissors
- A set of colored pencils
- A handheld pencil sharpener
Would also be nice, but not required:
A ruler
Paintbrushes
A zipper pouch to put it all in
A Note About Artsonia...
I love posting all of my students' work on Artsonia, the world's largest children's art museum! It is a great and safe way to keep track of student work and share it with friends and family. No last names are ever used. It also allows you to purchase neat items with your child's art on it. If you do, 15% comes back to me to spend on art supplies!
Artsonia requires parent permission to share art with others. Shortly after students complete their first major work, you will recieve an email or a paper slip to sign up on Artsonia. This will allow others to see your fantastic artwork. I highly encourage participation! Please sign-up! If you've already signed up, then you are good to go.
